Delivered to the contiguous US (DDP), add about US$0.50 per bottle. The active ingredient and the quantity move the price more than anything else.

What is the price of private label capsules per bottle?
At 500 bottles, a 60-capsule bottle of a standard formula costs between US$2.30 and US$3.60 ex-works. At 2,000 bottles, the same formulas cost between US$1.90 and US$3.00. These are reference prices for standard market formulas, so your own formula, capsule count and packaging are quoted per brief.
| Reference formula, 60-capsule bottle | 500 bottles | 1,000 bottles | 2,000 bottles |
|---|---|---|---|
| Vitamin D3 + K2 | US$2.30 | US$2.10 | US$1.90 |
| Turmeric Curcumin with Black Pepper | US$2.80 | US$2.55 | US$2.30 |
| Magnesium Glycinate | US$2.90 | US$2.65 | US$2.40 |
| Ashwagandha Extract | US$3.20 | US$2.90 | US$2.60 |
| Lion’s Mane Mushroom Extract | US$3.60 | US$3.30 | US$3.00 |
Prices are ex-works per bottle, including the bottle, the capsules and free label design. They are based on standard formulas and current raw-material costs, and the final quote is confirmed after we review your formula. You can see the full terms on our private label capsules page.
What makes one capsule bottle cost more than another?
The active ingredient is the biggest driver. A vitamin D3 + K2 formula uses microgram-level actives, so the raw-material cost is low. A mushroom extract at several hundred milligrams per capsule uses a much larger weight of a costlier raw material. Five factors decide most of the difference:
- Active ingredient and grade. Standardized extracts and chelated minerals cost more than basic vitamins.
- Dose per capsule and count per bottle. More milligrams per capsule and more capsules per bottle mean more raw material.
- Capsule shell. The shell type and size are confirmed with the formula.
- Packaging. The bottle, cap, label and carton are a fixed cost on every unit.
- Batch size. Setup, cleaning and testing costs are spread over more bottles in a larger run.
How much does the price drop as the order grows?
Going from 500 to 2,000 bottles lowers the per-bottle price by about 17% to 19% on the five reference formulas. For example, magnesium glycinate falls from US$2.90 to US$2.40, a drop of about 17%. Larger runs spread fixed costs over more bottles, which is why a tiered quote at 500, 1,000 and 2,000 bottles is worth asking for before you decide on a first order.
What does a full order cost?
A full order is the per-bottle price multiplied by the quantity, plus delivery if you want it included. The examples below use the reference prices above and the DDP allowance of about US$0.50 per bottle.
| Example order | Ex-works total | DDP allowance (about) | Delivered total (about) |
|---|---|---|---|
| 500 bottles of Vitamin D3 + K2 | US$1,150 | US$250 | US$1,400 |
| 1,000 bottles of Ashwagandha Extract | US$2,900 | US$500 | US$3,400 |
| 2,000 bottles of Magnesium Glycinate | US$4,800 | US$1,000 | US$5,800 |
DDP means delivered duty paid: freight and import duties to the contiguous US are included in the price, so you do not need a freight forwarder or customs broker for the shipment. Alaska, Hawaii and international delivery are quoted separately.
What could the margin look like?
At US$3.40 delivered, magnesium glycinate at 500 bottles leaves a large gap to a typical retail price. If a bottle sells for US$19.99, the gross margin before platform fees, advertising and returns is US$16.59 per bottle, or about 83%. This is an example, not a forecast, because real margins depend on your channel, advertising cost and sell-through.
What costs are not in a per-bottle price?
The per-bottle price covers making the product. These items are separate:
- Extra third-party testing. Batch COA for heavy metals and microbiology and the supplier’s raw-material COA are provided. Additional testing at an independent lab, such as identity and active content, can be arranged at the client’s cost.
- Marketing and platform costs. Photography, advertising, marketplace fees and returns.
- Your own regulatory review. Claims and label wording stay your responsibility. See our guide to US supplement label requirements.

How do I get an exact quote for my capsule formula?
Send the ingredients, the amount per capsule, the capsules per bottle, your target quantity and your market. We return a quote with tiered pricing at 500, 1,000 and 2,000 bottles so you can see how the price changes as you scale. You can request a capsule quote or ask for a free ready-stock sample to check quality first.
